NEWS BRIEFS
- MDA TO HELP DEVELOP GROUND STATIONS FOR ENVISAT
- MacDonald Dettwiler and Assoc., November 22nd, 1995 - MDA is to receive US $6.3 million for its participation in the development of ground stations for the European Space Agency's ENVISAT spacecraft. The project will see the development of software and computer hardware for data processing facilities in Italy and Sweden.
- RADARSAT ACQUIRES PRELIMINARY TEST IMAGES
- On November 28th, RADARSAT acquired its first images. The images are part of on-going payload tests and more will be collected over the coming period to verify different SAR imaging modes of the spacecraft.
