Further delays expected for RADARSAT launch
The RADARSAT launch, recently delayed to October 4th, has been rescheduled once again, this time to October 18th. The additional 2 week delay is needed in order to remove and make modifications to the solid rocket boosters (SRB) attached to the Delta II vehicle to be used for the launch. The SRBs are suspected to be at fault for a minor "partial" mishap in the launch of Koreasat 1 earlier in August.
