A group of astronomers at St. Mary's University have recently discovered a Super Nova. The discovery was made February 14th by two amateur astronomers Paul Gray and Dave Lane using the Burke-Gaffney Observatory's 40 cm reflector telescope and electronic camera. The Super Nova is officially designated 1995F and located in the galaxy NGC 2726.
