| ACTIVITIES / PRODUCTS/ FACILITIES / SERVICES: | Andrew Canada Inc. designs and manufactures air traffic control and weather radar antennas, precipitation sensors, navigation aid antennas, tactical tracking and intercept antenna systems, HF antenna systems, and supplies terrestrial microwave and earth station antenna systems, coaxial cable, waveguide and related equipment. Facilities include engineering research and development, a sophisticated anechoic chamber for testing scale models and operational prototypes, and a fully instrumented antenna pattern test range which has unobstructed sources ranging from 200 to over 5,000 metres from the main test tower. The company operates an extensive machine shop, welding, metal finishing and painting, assembly and fitting, crating and packaging facilities, including a high bay area for assembly of large specialized antennas such as the 45 ft. L-band radar antenna.
