| ACTIVITIES / PRODUCTS/ FACILITIES / SERVICES: | Lansdowne has assisted in the management of the Canadian Space Station Program (CSSP) including international negotiations with NASA, ESA, NASDA, and Russia; the establishment of utilization processes and procedures, the establishment and use of project management systems includes WBS, RAM, and cost/schedule control systems, and the definition and setup of operations and training support systems. Work has included management of parts of the STEAR program, which funds the development and commercialization of technology related to automation and robotics. This project required the use of all project management tools including the development of RFP's, SOW's and Evaluation Criteria for competitive procurement.
Current activities also include the management of all aspects of the Canadian Float Zone Furnace (CFZF) Project, a Canadian Space Agency payload being launched on Shuttle flight STS-77 in May 1996, encompassing international negotiations and cooperation, and payload preparation and certification. |
