About The Applet

Total size of the applet (including the image) is only 4,385 bytes. Flashing rate of individual applets are slightly randomized to give them a "real life" quality. The effect is apparent when multiple flashing lights appear on the same page.

Downloading and Installing

Follow these simple steps: download the applet archive and uncompress it, install it in your directory, then install the HTML text in your site. Please also read the Terms and Conditions.

1. Download and Uncompress:

You can download this applet by choosing one of the following 3 formats: UNIX Compress, ZIP and StuffIt. Each archive contains this file, a README file, two images and the Java (tm) applet itself.

2. Install the Applet:

When you uncompress the archive you will find a file called uczflas1.class and two image files. These files can be located anywhere on your site relative to the HTML file where you want the animation to appear. However, it is best and easiest to install the files in the same directory as the HTML file (as we have done with this page).

3. Add HTML Text:

To include the animation in your page add the following HTML:

Any text that appears in this part will only be displayed by a non-Java
capable browser. Refer to the source of this page to see an example for
what we have put in place.
