FAQs about how Conveyor uses AI

Conveyor uses OpenAI, Anthropic , and Google to power searches in Trust Centers and to help vendors respond to questionnaires. This includes a multi-step AI flow for extracting relevant information from knowledge sources as well as incoming questionnaires.

We have intentionally designed and built ConveyorAI with security and privacy as our guiding principles. We are operating under specific guidelines when it comes to generative AI:

Conveyor does not store Customer Content with any third-party LLMs providers. We use ephemeral API requests. Conveyor has entered into Zero Data Retention agreements with LLM providers OpenAI and Anthropic.

For steps in our processing flow that use Google LLMs, we have opted out of abuse monitoring

We do not allow training of third-party LLMs using Customer Content. Third party LLM providers are contractually prohibited from using Customer Content for their own purposes.

We only use anonymized and aggregated data when it comes to improving our ConveyorAI algorithms.

Yes. Security controls include SOC 2 Type II certification, annual external penetration testing, strong encryption (AES-256 at rest, TLS 1.2+ in transit), granular access controls, regular vulnerability scans, technologies, formal security policies, and a comprehensive information security program aligned with industry standards (SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST). Physical security is managed by AWS with auditable access controls. All cloud infrastructure and applications are covered by these controls.

ConveyorAI achieves higher accuracy than other LLM-based tools by grounding answers in customer data, using advanced post-processing to prevent hallucinations, and leveraging top-tier LLMs like GPT-4.1, Claude, and Gemini. Its hallucination rate is just 0.1% when seeded with a strong content library, far lower than the typical 3% rate of standard LLMs. The system also provides prescriptive guidance for content management and continuously improves through user feedback.
